Support tenant-advisory projects and business development while learning alongside senior advisors. This role is designed for an energetic, client-focused professional ready to help shape a growing firm.

The Opportunity

At Resource, our mission is to unlock potential for our clients. As a tenant-only boutique commercial real estate firm, we combine the operational experience of our consulting team with the specialized knowledge of our tenant advisory team to provide comprehensive support. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, helping them make informed decisions that align with their long-term workplace, culture, and real estate goals. We are passionate about the future of work, commercial real estate, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

We’re looking for a Senior Associate Client Advisor to join our team. This role requires an energetic, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll draw on your interpersonal skills, grit, and industry knowledge to support client projects and help build our client base. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape a growing firm, receive hands-on mentorship from senior advisors, and make a positive impact on the client experience.

This is a contract role with a commission-based income structure and uncapped upside potential.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

  • Initiate business development activities, including outreach to new leads through cold calls, warm calls, and email.

  • Maintain direct contact with prospects through cold calling and email outreach to build a client base.

  • Identify and qualify leads, contacts, and opportunities, and dedicate an agreed amount of time to conduct cold calls, set up meetings, and maintain relationships.

  • Work with senior advisors to create and prepare content for proposals, marketing materials, and presentations.

  • Gather market and property information tailored to client requirements, including preparing site surveys, lease comparison reports, progress reports, and market overviews.

  • Coordinate and schedule site tours and host on-site tours of properties with clients or prospects.

  • Gather and summarize information tailored to each client, including tenant surveys and summary or progress reports.

  • Contribute to market research requests, including market snapshots, overviews, quarterly market decks, and topic-specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities.

  • Draft or edit legal documents (letters of intent, offers, commission agreements, listing agreements, etc.).

  • Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation processes.

  • Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models.

  • Attend industry events to foster connections with prospects, clients, and partners.

  • Collaborate with consulting partners to provide clients with end-to-end support.

  • Attend weekly operating meetings and other business meetings as required.

  • Meet internal weekly and monthly sales target metrics and hold regular meetings with prospects.

  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all business interactions.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to promote a cohesive and productive workplace environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Embody our values: Integrity, Exceptional Support, One Team Mentality, Power in Perspective, and Future-Focused.

  • 3-5 years of proven success in tenant advisory and real estate transactions.

  • Self-starter who is excited to see the results of their efforts.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Client-centric approach with a focus on building genuine relationships.

  • Exposure to diverse property portfolios (office, retail, life sciences, industrial, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience supporting portfolio account work across multiple geographies is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides with basic financial modeling and presentation skills.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future trends and needs.

  • Passion for the real estate industry and its evolving role in shaping workspaces.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Collaborative team player with a “we not me” attitude.

  • Thoughtful and an active listener who fosters an inclusive environment.

Additional Qualifications

  • California real estate license required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with people at all levels.

  • Experience in commercial real estate or a related industry is a strong asset.

  • Experience conducting research through MLS, MPAC, RealNet, and other online platforms is a strong asset.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Ability to work from our San Francisco office 3–4 days a week.
